How to Fix HP Printer Error Code 0xc19a0040

USE GENUINE INK-CARTRIDGES

1. HP recommends you to use only HP genuine cartridges

2. Only these cartridges have ink that supports the printer

3. If you do not reliably use ink cartridges in the printer, 0xc19a0040 error message might pop up

RESET THE HP PRINTER

1.Turn on the printer, you will hear a sound

2. Wait for the sound to end and when the HP printer is on, detach the power cable from the printer

3. Also,remove the other end that is on the wall

4. After 50-60 seconds again plug-in the cords and turn the printer on

CLEAN THE INK CARTRIDGES

1.Remove the cartridge head from the printer

2. Now verify that the cartridge has or does not have connectors on the bottom chip

3. If present, clean them using bottled or distilled water with a damp napkin

4. Now double-check to free the copper-colored area from dirt before you put the cartridges back

5. Ensure the cartridges are clear and insert them back

6. Turn on the printer and check if it is working

RESET THE PRINTER HEAD

1. Open the cartridges access and wait until they're quiet

2. Turnoff your printer's energy cable, lift the handle of the cartridge, and then slightly pull the print head without completely removing it

3. Reinsert it again and now try turning on the printer

REPLACE PRINTER HEAD

1. Without keeping the cartridges in the external environment for more than 30 seconds remove the printhead

2. Buy a new printhead from a nearby HP store or online

3. Purchase only from HP outlets or HP website

4. If the cartridges are kept externally for more than 30 seconds, it might damage both the printer and the printhead again
